Siva now is a fourth-year PhD student of Prof. Stephen Skinner's group. The focus of his PhD is to develop an understanding the the fundamental processes, both mechanical and chemical, that take place at the Metallic Anode|NASICON interface found in Sodium-ion Batteries. Using a combination of surface analysis techniques, key objectives are to ascertain the chemical changes that take place at the dynamic interface and correlate any changes to electrochemical performance.
